Marketing & Media Coordinator – Part Time
Drift New England is an adrenaline-fueled motorsports venue specializing in drifting, autocross, karting, and performance driving experiences. We host high-energy events, drift schools, and clinics, providing enthusiasts and newcomers alike with an unforgettable motorsports experience. We are looking for a creative and driven Marketing & Media Coordinator to showcase the action and drive engagement across digital platforms.
Position Overview:
The Marketing & Media Coordinator will be responsible for capturing, creating, and distributing compelling content across social media and digital channels to grow our audience, increase event attendance, and enhance our brand presence. This role requires a mix of creative storytelling, social media expertise, and hands-on experience with photo and video production. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, open to trying new strategies, and continuously looking for innovative ways to engage with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Media Production:
Capture high-quality photos and videos of events, drift schools, autocross, and karting sessions.
Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, website, and promotional use.
Develop highlight reels, promotional clips, and recap videos for marketing purposes.
Maintain a consistent visual identity and branding across all media.
Stay open to experimenting with new filming techniques, editing styles, and content formats.
Social Media Management:
Manage and grow the facility’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Meta Business Suite.
Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, reels, and live streams.
Develop content calendars and marketing strategies to drive engagement and ticket sales.
Monitor trends and implement best practices to maximize audience reach and interaction.
Be open to testing new content styles, social media trends, and engagement strategies.
Event Promotion & Digital Marketing:
Design and execute social media ad campaigns to boost attendance and engagement.
Develop email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
Work with event organizers, sponsors, and partners to enhance promotional efforts.
Track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize content strategy.
Adapt marketing strategies based on analytics, feedback, and industry trends.
Requirements:
Proven experience in photo/video production, editing, and content creation.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or similar software.
Strong understanding of Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Knowledge of digital marketing trends and analytics tools.
Passion for motorsports, drifting, and automotive culture (preferred).
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to experiment with new approaches and continuously improve content and engagement strategies.
Bonus Skills (Preferred, but not required):
Experience with drones and action cameras (GoPro, DJI, etc.).
Graphic design skills (Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc.).
Previous experience in motorsports or automotive-related marketing.
This is a part-time position with the possibility of becoming full-time in the future.
